At 7:30 after an exceptionally clean Onyxia kill we were left wondering what to do. We'd planned to do Zul'Gurub afterwards, but with a nearly full raid and 3.5 raiding hours left we felt it was a bit of a waste. Reports of Taerar in Duskwood reached our ears. We'd planned to kill him last night after Molten Core, but an untimely server reset had depopulated him. Now was our chance!
Now, we've killed Ysondre enough times that we feel like we have the basics of the dragon fights down. Take Ysondre, add in AoE fearbombs and replace the 12 weak little druids with 3 big raid-level dragons and you have Taerar. It's a fair amount tougher. Ultimately a very fun fight even though it's very similar to Ysondre. Fifteen minute cooldowns between attempts make the dragons a bit frustrating to learn, but it does make it more rewarding when they finally die.
Ysondre down. Taerar down. Emeriss, you're next.
