We marched to Blackrock Mountain this Wednesday with a dire thirst for the blood of dragons! Killing Onyxia just isn't enough anymore, time for bigger, sexier dragons to kill. BWL was the obvious location of choice for this dragon slaying.
About four hours, and uh, 15g of repairs later Razorgore fell.
With many of us being horde in our past lives, the fight was quite a bit different to learn. Earthbind totems are a luxury (or possibly a crutch?) that we don't possess now. The learning process was a bit steeper than what we're used to, as the first stages of the fight in particular are extremely delicate, relying heavily on individuals making no mistakes whatsoever.
We went ahead to the next room in Blackwing Lair to meet an old friend. Vaelastrasz the Corrupt, formerly known as Vaelastrasz the Dragon That Helps Us Own Rend Blackhand, greets us merily, afflicted with the corruption of Nefarian. We tried Vael and he owned us, as is to be expected. A 22% wipe (he starts at 30%, but I shouldn't have told you to make it sound more impressive) and it was nearly 1:00 EST and time to sleep for lots of us.
An incredible night! Thanks all. :)
