Ahh, the dog-that-frenzies fight. Gluth is like some perverse hybrid of Magmadar and Fankriss. In fact, Gluth himself isn't so difficult to manage. He has a stacking debuff that reduces incoming healing by 10% per stack. It clears pretty quickly. We just use the fears to force tank rotations. No problem.
The hard part is the Zombie Chow. Zombie Chow are these zombies that spawn throughout the fight, pretty quickly at that. They have a ton of health and as such you can't burn them down, you have to kite them. But to make things messy, when they hit you they add a stack of a Curse of Blood debuff. Meaning each time they hit you, they hit you harder than the last. To top things all off, the fight is a DPS race, Gluth will enrage if you take too long, and if the zombies get too close to Gluth they'll heal him.
Not a big deal though, right? We'll just kite the Zombies away from Gluth.
So much easier said than done. Ultimately we went through 5 or 6 different methods that we'd discovered. Some of them worked well, but required too many people; our damage output was too low. Some just resulted in the kiters dying too much. Ultimately we found a kite strategy that only needs 3-4 people to work. After about 3 practice runs we killed him with the new method.
